Niagara's men's hockey team (5-6-7) came from behind twice for a 3-3 tie with Princeton (4-9-4) in the third-place game of the University of Minnesota's Mariucci Classic in Minneapolis.
With 54 seconds left in regulation, sophomore Ryan Murphy sent the game to overtime with his second goal of the season.
Scott Arnold scored his eighth in the opening period for Niagara. Princeton's Derrick Pallis tied it with 3 seconds left in that period on the power play.
The final period saw three goals scored in a span of 2:41. Princeton's Marc Hagel started it at 9:45 after a turnover in front of Niagara netminder Chris Noonan. Thirty-one seconds later, Niagara freshman Chris Lochner tied it again at 2-all with his first collegiate goal. The Tigers regained the lead on Brodie Zuk's goal at 12:26.

Canisius' men's basketball team starts 2012 on the road facing Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference opponent Fairfield at 1 p.m. in Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, Conn.
Canisius (3-9, 0-2 MAAC) will be trying to end a nine-game losing streak against the Stags (7-5, 2-0 MAAC), which includes a 68-59 loss at the Koessler Center on Dec. 4.
