The Francos' home at a glance

*The layout: Living room, dining room, library, half bath, coat room and kitchen with "cold room" on first floor. Terraces and porches. Detached garage with art studio built by Deborah Franco's brother. Three baths, three bedrooms and TV/game room upstairs.

*The floors: Quarter-sawn oak floors with area rugs. Ceramic tile in kitchen and baths. Red carpeting on stairs and in bedrooms.

*Accessories: Items collected from around the world. Watercolors by Deborah Franco.

*Furniture: Traditional, mostly from their previous home.

*Paint colors: Creamy white plaster of Paris walls in living room and elsewhere; sage green in dining room. Cocoa-colored walls in dressing area of master bedroom. Gold-mustard in son's bedroom.

*Window treatments: A red bistro-inspired awning in kitchen; traditional treatments throughout, including some that came with the house.

*Details: Three fireplaces. Original light fixtures, doorknobs and door knockers.
