A team of eight associates from the Fairfield Inn & Suites Buffalo-Airport hotel worked with Habitat for Humanity Buffalo to rehab a house at 35 Littlefield St. on the Buffalo-Cheektowaga border recently. The Fairfield Inn & Suites Buffalo team worked on various interior and exterior projects, including siding repair and wallpaper removal. The hotel is at 4271 Genesee St. in Cheektowaga.

Moog Inc., East Aurora, was awarded a $12 million federal contract and a $2.8 million federal contract for the repair of electro-mechanical actuators from the U.S. Naval Supply Systems Command, Philadelphia.

Central Gulf Lines, New York, was awarded a $4.8 million federal contract for an 80-day dry time charter from Hawaii from the U.S. Navy's Military Sealift Command.

Towne Automotive Group recently presented a $16,000 check to Camp Good Days, a program headquartered in Mendon that provides support to children and families fighting cancer. The dealership matched the $8,000 raised at an auction held during its staff Christmas celebration.
