MILITELLO, Sarah L.

MILITELLO - Sarah L. Longtime Naples Resident. Services for Sarah L. Militello, of Tampa, Fl, will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, December 27th in St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Naples, Florida with burial to follow. She died December 13, 2011 in Tampa, FL, after a brief illness. She was 94 years old. Born in Buffalo, NY, Sarah was a graduate of Grover Cleveland High School. She retired from M&T Bank, Buffalo, NY, where she served as head teller. She moved to Naples in 1984 with her husband, Sebastian "Sibby" Militello who
preceded her in death. Mrs. Militello was a past President of the Romulus Club of Buffalo. She was also an active
parishioner of St Amelia's Catholic Church in the Town of Tonawanda, where she served as Eucharistic Minister and was a founding member of the Senior Citizens Club. Survivors include a daughter, Maureen Gethoefer of Tampa, FL; two sons, Charles (Olga) of Amherst and Paul (Victoria) of Tampa, FL; seven grandchildren, Jill Brown, Kiera Privitera, William G. Gethoefer III, Nicholas Militello, Anthony Militello, Ana Torres and Felipe Ulloa. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Hospice in the name of Sarah L. Millitello. Arrangements being handled by HODGES FUNERAL HOME at Naples Memorial Gardens.
