No. 1 Syracuse 80, Bucknell 61: Kris Joseph had 17 points, Scoop Jardine added 14 and the Orange won its 30th straight nonconference home game. Syracuse shot 50 percent in the opening half and held the Bison to 8-of-28 shooting to take a 39-22 halftime lead.

No. 2 Ohio State 70, Lamar 50: Jared Sullinger bounced back from his latest injury to score 18 points and grab 11 rebounds for the Buckeyes. The All-America missed two games with back spasms.

No. 3 Kentucky 82, Samford 50: Doron Lamb scored 26 points to extend the Wildcats' home winning streak to 41 games. Kentucky played without preseason All-American Terrence Jones, who missed the first game in his collegiate career after dislocating the pinky on his left, shooting hand Saturday.

No. 4 Louisville 69, College of Charleston 62: Kyle Kuric had 17 points and eight rebounds and the Cardinals, who trailed, 57-55, with 5:06 to play, escaped an upset on their home court.

No. 15 Pittsburgh 71, St. Francis (Pa.) 47: J.J. Moore scored 15 points, Dante Taylor added 14 and Pitt won its ninth straight by holding the Red Flash to 35 percent shooting and continuing their dominance on the glass, outrebounding St. Francis, 42-21.
