Buffalo Rheumatology Associates named Dr. Ernesto Levy and Dr. Kostas Botsoglou to the medical practice at its new Amherst offices at 3500 Sheridan Drive. Levy, who is board certified in both internal medicine and rheumatology, has been practicing and teaching medicine in Argentina and the United States since receiving his medical degree at the University of Buenos Aires School of Medicine. He completed fellowships in rheumatology at the Washington University School of Medicine, Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, and the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases in Bethesda, Md. Most recently, he has been practicing medicine in Indianapolis at the Greenwood Health Center. Botsoglou graduated from the University at Buffalo and also received a master's degree before enrolling at St. George's University in Grenada, where he received his doctor of medicine degree. He was chief resident at UB's Catholic Health Internal Medicine Training Program, which brought him to Buffalo Rheumatology for part of his residency.

Harter Secrest & Emery partner Robert C. Weissflach was named practice group leader of the firm's Labor and Employment group.

Citizens Bank appointed Donna Germain a mortgage loan officer in Jamestown. Germain, who has been in the mortgage business for 16 years, previously was a loan officer with JPMorgan Chase.

Buffalo Lodging Associates named George Parillo director of sales for Fairfield Inn & Suites Buffalo-Airport, at 4271 Genesee St. in Cheektowaga. Parillo has seven years of hospitality industry experience. Most recently, he was the director of sales overseeing three Buffalo area hotels. He is a graduate of Robert Morris University of Moon Township, Pa.
