The fewer the #preptalkscores, the bigger the games

We're almost there: Ralph Wilson Stadium.

Only 10 Section VI teams will survive this weekend, and they'll all head to The Ralph for next week's championship games. To get you ready, here's my overview, and my observations in our PrepTalkTV video preview

When the ball gets kicked off, help us keep track of it all at our Prep Talk Live page. As we get deeper into the playoffs, there are fewer games, but we still want your help in keeping tabs on the action.

On a tough night to choose where to go, I'm going to be at the only battle of undefeated teams with as No. 3 small school Pioneer visits No. 1 Alden. Freelancer Nate Beutel will be at Williamsville South for their Class A semifinal against North Tonawanda. We'll have PrepTalkTV team members at those two games as well as Depew at Cheektowaga.

On Saturday I'm headed to Sweet Home for their game against Bennett while Mary Jo Monnin will check out Jamestown at Kenmore West. The PrepTalkTV team will be at those games along with Bishop Timon-St. Jude at St. Joe's.

The easiest way to provide information to help us monitor games -- Friday or Saturday -- is to join the live blog on the Prep Talk Live page through your smartphone.

Another method that has been very successful has been Twitter, where we encourage you to tweet updates along with the hashtag #preptalkscores -- that's the quickest way for us to share the information through the live blog (tweets with that hashtag will automatically show up). You can also certainly still tweet those updates to @bufnewspreptalk and @KeithMcSheaBN

You can also email to or add updates to our Prep Talk blog Facebook page.

Our Prep Talk Live page includes a live chat, video, photos and scoreboards that will be updated throughout tonight and Saturday afternoon. Note: Typing in will also get you to Prep Talk Live. See you there.
