SPOOKY LIBRARY: Families are invited to a "Spooky Library Party" from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday in the Central Library, 1 Lafayette Square. The free event features storytelling for 8L to 12-year-olds in the library's hidden stacks. Children are encouraged to wear costumes. OKTOBERFEST: The Downtown Niagara Falls Business Association and Global Spectrum are teaming up to host the second annual Old Falls Street Oktoberfest in downtown Niagara Falls beginning at noon Saturday on Old Falls Street. Admission is free. The Kidtoberfest Kids Zone will include a petting zoo, make-your-own craft stations and more. For adults, German beers and a variety of sausages, sauerkraut and other German delights will be available. FITNESS WALK: Be Active Erie County, a countywide health and physical activity program, will hold a free walk led by Phil Haberstro of the Wellness Institute and staff from the Erie County Department of Health at 9:45 a. m. Saturday at Chestnut Ridge Park in Orchard Park. Registration for the 1.25-and 2.5-mile walks begins at 9 at the Martin Lodge.

DRIVER'S COURSE: A state-certified, six-hour point-and insurance-reduction course will be offered from 8:30 a. m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in Kenmore Mercy Hospital, 2950 Elmwood Ave., Town of Tonawanda. Those completing the course will receive 10 percent off their collision and liability auto insurance for three years and up to four points off their driver's license. FALL FESTIVAL: West Side Bazaar and Guercio's & Sons will sponsor a Fall Festival from 10 a. m. to 7p.m. Saturday at 242 Grant St. There will be music, and global merchandise, pumpkins, gourds and baked goods by Pure Peru will be available for sale. The event will benefit Jericho Road Ministries, a faith-based organization dedicated to assisting refugees and the low-income community in Buffalo.
