Dr. Michael D. Kraska Jr., who ran his own optometry business, died Wednesday at his home in Williamsville. He was 69.
Born in Buffalo, he was a graduate of the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. In 1969, Dr. Kraska opened his own practice, Clabeaux Optical, on Clinton Street in West Seneca, which he operated for 40 years.
He was the last surviving member of the Cougar Club, a local male social club. He also was a past president of the Upper Crescent Beach Homeowners Association in Fort Erie, Ont.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, the former Denise Flynn, and three sons, Michael, Charles and Timothy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 5480 Main St., Williamsville.
