THOMPSON, Thomas C. Jr.

THOMPSON - Thomas C., Jr. 83, of Sudbury, MA, formerly of Buffalo, NY, died of Lowy Body Disease and Congestive Heart Failure on September 19, 2011 in Sudbury, surrounded by his loving family. Born June 25, 1928 in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of the late Thomas C. Thompson, Sr. and Anna Bauer Thompson, both of Buffalo. He was married to Brett Price, of Kingston, PA. in 1953 and they recently celebrated 58 years of marriage. In addition to his wife, Brett, he is survived by his sister Florence Simons of East Aurora, NY and his brother, John (Jack) Thompson of Garland, TX.; his children Lynn T Murray of Sudbury, MA; Shelley T. Boer of Philadelphia, PA and Bruce P Thompson, Sudbury, MA. He also leaves his grandchildren, Christopher L Murray of Chicago; Spec. Bradford T. Murray, U.S. Army, Ft Hood, TX; Alison P Murray of Sudbury; Price Dylan Thompson of Sudbury; Sarah E. Thompson of Sudbury and Hunter S. Thompson of Louisville, KY; and a recent and delightful addition to his family, Liam Daniel Murray, his first great-grandchild, of Ft. Hood, TX and Manchester, NH. He was preceded in death by his son, Scott A Thompson of Louisville, KY. Mr. Thompson served as
a Corporal with the U.S. Army during
the Korean War from 1949-1951. A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, September 25, at 5:00 pm at Sudbury United Methodist Church, 251 Old Sudbury Road, Rt. 27, Sudbury, MA. Private burial with military honors will take place Monday, September 26, at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA.
