FISHER, Pearl F.

FISHER - Pearl F. 94, of Batavia formerly of Attica died Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia, New York. She was born December 8, 1916 on the feast day of the Immaculate Conception, the daughter of the late Andrew and Josephine (nee Robak) Grzebielucha. Her husband, Ward. E. Fisher, died October 19, 1971. Pearl is the loving mother of nine children: Jacqueline (Leonard) Wojcik, the late Ward Joseph (Joanne) Fisher, Dorothy (Thomas) St. Pierre, the late Gerald Edward (Mary) Fisher, the late Howard (Betty Benton) Fisher, Ronald (Janet) Fisher, Joyce (James) Cackovich, Bradley (Dolly) Fisher, and Patrick Fisher. Pearl was sister to the late Mary (late Stanley) Lipinski, the late Cecelia (late Frank) Wasielewski, the late Jennie Grzebielucha, the late Laura (Edward) Wasielewski, the late Gladys (late Stephen) Wasielewski, the late Irene (Stanley) Wictor, Sophia (Donald) Dedman and the late John Grzebielucha. She is survived by 26 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, many great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Her special Batavia friends include Dr. Mohammed Rumi, the entire Gautieri Family and many friends living at Washington Tower Apartments. Pearl was a member of the St. Vincent De Paul church in Attica, the Holy Rosary Society, Catholic Golden Agers, St. Jude League, Salesian Missions, Our Lady of Czestochowska, and a donor to Crossroads House in Batavia. Services with family and Pearl's dear friends will be conducted at Marley Funeral Home, 135 Main Street in Attica, NY on Friday, September 23rd, 7-9 PM. A Catholic mass will be conducted from St. Joachim - Anne Church (former St. Vincent De Paul), 50 East Avenue, Attica, NY will be followed by Christian burial at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory, will be gratefully accepted by the Crossroads House, PO Box 403, 11 Liberty Street, Batavia, New York 14021 and the Dominican Shrine of St. Jude Thaddeus, 1909 South Ashland Avenue, Chicago, IL 60608-2994.
