Total loss: Buffalo firefighters, left, look for hot spots after extinguishing a blaze Thursday morning that heavily damaged a vacant house on South Park Avenue near Pries Avenue and Trowbridge Street. Officials estimated the loss at $70,000, and the structure was ordered demolished. The cause is under investigation.
