"Breastfeeding Your Infant," a class for pregnant women and their partners, will be offered from 4 to 4:45 p.m. Thursday in the first-floor patient reception Area A of Women's Health Center, 239 Bryant St. The class, which will be repeated on Sept. 22, Oct. 20, Nov. 17 and Dec. 15, provides support networks and helpful suggestions.
Another class, "Have You Considered Breastfeeding?" will be offered at the same time and place Sept. 8, Oct. 6, Nov. 3 and Dec. 1. Topics it covers are: your hospital stay, rooming-in, and skin-to-skin benefits shared by the mother and infant while breastfeeding.
The classes are free; gifts are available for moms who attend both sessions. Reservations are not necessary. For information, call 878-7737.
