The Blues Society of Western New York is seeking premier blues band talent to compete in this year's 14th annual Memphis Bound Competition. Winners of the band category will represent the society in the 28th International Blues Challenge held in Memphis from Jan. 31 to Feb. 4, 2012. The Freudig Singers of Western New York will hold auditions for all voice parts from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in the sanctuary of St. James United Church of Christ (76 Main St., Hamburg).
