Catholic Health Primary Care Services and Kenmore Mercy Hospital welcomed Dr. Brenda L. Perez, to the Williamsville Primary Care Center. A Buffalo native, Perez is board-certified in family medicine. She received her medical degree from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and her MBA from the UB School of Management. She completed her residency in family and general practice at St. Joseph Hospital Health Center. Also, Perez was named associate medical director for Catholic Health Primary Care Services.

Prometheus Books, an independent book publisher headquartered in Amherst, promoted Jade Zora Ballard to senior editor and Lisa Michalski to publicist. Ballard, a Ithaca College graduate, served as assistant editor for two years. Michalski, who joined the company in 2008, studied communication at Daemen College and Buffalo State College. Also, the company named Cheryl Krajna a senior publicist and Mariel E. Bard an assistant editor. Krajna has an master's degree from St. Bonaventure University and a bachelor's degree from Syracuse University. Bard graduated from Canisius College.

Kenney Shelton Liptak Nowak named Patrick D. Crandell, Alison L. Odojewski, Neil A. Pawlowski, and Cynthia L. Thompson associates in its Buffalo office. Crandell most recently worked as a commercial litigator at Phillips Lytle. Odojewski worked with carriers as a claimant's attorney for the past 11 years. Pawlowski, joined the firm as a law clerk in 2009. Thompson was formerly with Phillips Lytle.

SERVPRO of the Southtowns, a cleaning and restoration services provider, named Christy Albanese marketing representative.

Moog Inc., East Aurora, was awarded a $595,987 federal contract for architect and engineering services from the U.S. Air Force Materiel Command, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla. and a $502,200 federal contract for aircraft hydraulics, vacuum and de-icing system components from the U.S. Army's Defense Logistics Agency Detachment, Richmond, Va.
