BLOOD DRIVE: The New York-Penn Region of the American Red Cross Blood Services will hold a blood drive from 1 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the East Aurora Moose Lodge, 905 Main St. All blood donors will be treated to a picnic of hot dogs and pop and are eligible to win a pair of tickets to an upcoming Buffalo Bisons game or a pair of tickets to a Buffalo Bills preseason game Sept. 1. Eligible volunteer blood donors are asked to call 800-RED CROSS (800-733-2767) or visit redcrossblood.org to find a blood drive and to make an appointment.

MUSIC AT THE MUSEUM: The Buffalo & Erie County Historical Society presents Music at the Museum with Autistic Services from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at 25 Nottingham Court. The evening will include music-oriented crafting and a family sing-along with hands-on instruments led by Miriam Minkoff, Autistic Services' music director. Vintage silent cartoons will be screened in the museum's auditorium, with pianist John L. playing on the society's 1911 pipe organ. Free museum tours and artifact hunts are included.
