'Do not track' features on browsers

*Mozilla Firefox: Versions after Firefox 4.0 offer a feature that transmits a "Do Not Track" request to every website they visit.

*Microsoft Internet Explorer: Versions after IE9 include option to identify and block many forms of undesired tracking.

*Google: Allows users to opt out of Google ad tracking via a website called Ad Preferences Manager. The Chrome browser also offers a software add-on called "Keep My Opt-outs," that allows users to permanently opt out of most online ad profiling.
