Just because the weather has warmed up doesn't mean you have to give up fashion scarves. Summer versions can be light as air. They add a pop of color and pattern, and fringe and sheer fabrics will add to the floaty look you're after.

But don't limit yourself to wearing one around your neck. Tie a pretty scarf on the handle of a summer handbag. Choose one long enough to wear as a sash.

You can even use summer scarves decoratively to wrap a gift, liven up a centerpiece or dress a decorative pillow, even just by tying one around an existing solid-colored cover.
