The Village of Williamsville Garden Walk will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. The free tour begins outside Village Hall, 5565 Main St., Williamsville. The Williamsville Business Association's giant sidewalk sale also is planned.

The sixth annual Lewiston GardenFest will take place along Center Street from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Maps are available at the two hospitality tents on Center Street. Open gardens, speakers, vendors, displays, gardening experts. No fee. Sponsored by the Lewiston Garden Club. Website: lewistongardenfest.com.

The Parkside Community Association is sponsoring its 14th annual Parkside Garden Tour from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. The tour begins at Church of the Good Shepherd, 96 Jewett Parkway, where tour maps will be available. The PCA suggests a $5 donation. Website: parksidebuffalo.org.

Hamburg House and Garden Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Hamburg United Methodist Church, 114 Union St., Hamburg. Fran Evans will present "Front Yard Gardening -- Curb Appeal." The business meeting and annual scholarship presentation to a high school senior will follow. For club information, call Maria Smith at 648-1782.

Anyone interested in carnivorous plants is invited to join the Western New York Carnivorous Plant Club currently being formed.

Kenny Coogan, one of the founders, said the group's mission is "to function as an educational organization interested in all phases of cultivating carnivorous plants and to aid in the propagation and dissemination of carnivorous plants in the Western New York area."

The group plans to meet at 6:30 p.m. the first Tuesday of every month, beginning Aug. 2 in the Tonawanda area. For more information, visit the group's Facebook page or send an e-mail to: wnycpclub@aol.com.
