Cheektowaga Central High School's Classes of 1961, 1962 and 1963 will hold a reunion Aug. 6 with dinner and dancing in the Polish Falcons Hall, 445 Columbia Ave., Depew. SLEIGHT OF HAND -- Illusionists Rob and Carol Allen bring their Mist-ical Magic Show back for the summer to the Aquarium of Niagara, 701 Whirlpool St., Niagara Falls, beginning this weekend. Showtimes are 11:20 a.m. and 1:20 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, right after the sea lion shows in the main pool, although times may change. There will be Sunday shows this Sunday, July 17 and Aug. 7. The final performance will be Sept. 1. Sponsored by the Dairy Farmers of Western New York, the Allens have performed at the Aquarium for the past eight years.

PETAL PATROL -- The Jamestown Renaissance Corp. is looking for candidates for its new front yard garden recognition program. From now through July 8, Jamestowners are urged to nominate front yards that contribute to the beauty of their neighborhoods. Nominations may be made by calling 338-9889 or e-mailing Volunteers will check out the nominees, and the best ones will be identified as a 2011 Grow Jamestown Garden with a small sign.

IN THE TRADITION -- Black Willow Winery, 5565 West Lake Road, Burt, a mile west of Olcott, will hold a Mead Release Party to celebrate its newest batch of the traditional honey wine from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday. There will a pig roast by Ray "Big Daddy" Pierce and other food from Johnston's Restaurant in Ransomville. Tickets are $14 per meal. The Lochside Celtic Trio and Step in Time will provide live music. BABY STEPS -- The Northeast Family YMCA, 4433 Main St., Snyder, is looking for volunteers to assist with youngsters as baby sitters in its Childwatch Room while parents are taking part in other programs at the "Y".

Volunteers must be at least 14 years old, preferably with American Red Cross baby-sitting certification, and have good communications skills. They will work with the s babysitting staff and must be able to promise to work from 8 a.m. to noon at least one day a week for nine weeks, from next week through Aug. 27.
