"Walk to Wellness," a 12-week low-impact exercise program, starts Wednesday at Schofield Adult Wellness Center, 3333 Elmwood Ave., Kenmore. The beginners group walks at 9:15 a.m. and the intermediate group starts at 10:30. The program continues Wednesdays through Sept. 7; walkers may join at any point. The Arthritis Foundation will offer a six-week exercise program at 11:15 a.m. Wednesdays (through July 27) at Clarence Senior Center, 4600 Thompson Road. The seated and standing exercises are designed to increase joint flexibility, range of motion and muscle strength. Arthritis management guidance will be given. Nonmembers are welcome. Cost is $30 (members receive discounted rate). To register, call 633-5138.
