On Saturday, ZGM Fine Arts (1045 Elmwood Ave.) will open a pair of exhibitions featuring work by two commercial photographers whose personal work has often veered toward the surreal.
A selection of works by Isaac Stackell, who formerly ran an outfit known as Horizon Photographics in New York City, will feature his unique style of photo illustration alongside a series of landscapes and what a news release describes as "large-scale works of fantasy."
Gallery co-founder Wayne Geist (the "G" in ZGM) will show two series of work that reveal "simple yet intriguing details and objects of the interior and exterior urban landscape."
The exhibition opens with a reception featuring food, drink and live music beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday. The show runs through June 12. For more information, call 228-1855 or visit www.zgmfinearts.com.
