FRIDAY FISH -- Alden Meals on Wheels holds its annual fish dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. today in the American Legion Hall, 13143 Broadway. Stan Krolick, of Arcade, will prepare the fish. Tickets are $9 for a dinner that also includes an appetizer, relish tray, potato salad, coleslaw, dessert and beverage. Proceeds benefit Alden Meals on Wheels.

St. Aloysius Gonzaga Parish, 157 Cleveland Drive, Cheektowaga, hosts a Good Friday Fish Fry from 4 to 7 p.m. today in the parish hall. Tickets are $10 at the door and include fish, french fries, salads, beverage and dessert. A children's meal of cheese pizza and fries is $3. For info, call 833-1715.

SWEET DREAMS -- The Alden Christian Theatre Society, 1470 Church St., holds its annual Easter dessert chance auction from 10 a.m. to noon Sunday, with drawings at 11:45. More than 30 desserts will be offered, including bunny cakes, lamb cakes and Polish raisin bread (placek). Gift certificates from professional bakeries also will be offered. Cost is $5 for 26 tickets.

AN EGG A DAY -- There's an Easter egg hunt every day from today through Monday in the Butterfly Conservatory on the grounds of the Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens & School of Horticulture, 2565 Niagara Parkway, Niagara Falls, Ont. It includes a word-scramble game in which kids look for letters hidden throughout the conservatory to spell a secret phrase for a chance to win a grand prize gift basket from Pop & Lolly's Candy Shop.

DYNGUS AMONG US -- The third annual Dyngus Day celebration at Corpus Christi Church, 199 Clark St. near the Broadway Market, is a full day of activities, starting with Holy Mass at 11:30 a.m., followed by luncheon and entertainment at 12:30. Tickets are $20. Reservations are required. Call 479-2342. Seating is limited.

Guided tours of the church, where the Disputa mural restoration is in progress, will be given free from 1 to 4 p.m. There also will be a pre-Dyngus Day parade party from 1 to 5 p.m. in the Athletic Center, with a cash bar and music by DJ Greg. After the parade, the party continues from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. with Al Kania's "Polka Smile Eastern Style" Band, Polish beer and Corpus Christi's famous Polish pizza.
