LUNCHTIME SERIES: Dr. Richard Lee will give a talk titled "Medicine in the Slow Lane: Travels in Out-of-the-Way Places" at noon today in the Central Library on Lafayette Square. It is part of the Buffalo & Erie County Public Library's lunchtime Exotic Travels series.

EASTER EGG HUNT: The Kiwanis Club of Wales will hold its annual Easter Egg Hunt at 11 a.m. Saturday in Wales Town Park, located on Big Tree Road next to the community center. Children will be divided into four age groups and will have their hunt in separate areas of the park to make it more equal. Prizes will be awarded for each age group.

GREAT AMERICAN CLEANUP EVENT: Erie County Legislator Timothy J. Whalen, D-Buffalo, will host a Great American Cleanup event from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday in Mulroy Park, located behind Holy Family Church at South Park Avenue and Tifft Street in South Buffalo. A free cookout will follow the cleanup of the park. For details, call Whalen's district office at 824-6180.

EASTER EGG HUNT: Children's Safety Village will host an Easter egg hunt at noon Saturday at 2695 Route 394 in Ashville. Admission is $1; children 5 and under are free. Please bring your own Easter basket. Refreshments will be sold. Train rides and face-painting will be featured.

AUTHOR BOOK SIGNING: Jeanette Barron will be available to sign copies of her Christian fiction novel "Introduced to Love" from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday in Goodrich Coffee and Tea, 9450 Main St., Clarence, and from 4 to 6 p.m. May 1 in Clarence Center Coffee Co., 9475 Clarence Center Road in Clarence Center.
