EPIC ENROLLMENT: EPIC, the New York State Senior Prescription Plan, will sponsor open enrollment to assist eligible senior citizens in filling out applications and answer questions about how EPIC works with the Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage Plans. GHOST LAB: The Iron Island Museum will present Ghost Lab Event Barry and Brad Klinge with special guest Aron Houdini from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday, at 998 E. Lovejoy St. The cost is $30. For information, call 892-3084.

HUNGER ON THE RUN: The Friends of Night People will stage its eighth annual race, Putting Hunger on the Run, at 10 a.m. Saturday. The race, which gets under way at Niagara and Vermont streets, benefits the shelter. There will be a a post-race party in D'Youville College Center.
