"Wicked: Evolution of a Character" is a program designed to give students in grades nine through 12 an opportunity to explore the process of creating a character while learning acting techniques. Holy Angels Academy's junior varsity and varsity basketball teams hosted a Coaches vs. Cancer fundraiser during the basketball season and raised more than $2,000 for cancer research. The fundraiser was held in honor of Debra Green, the mother of freshmen basketball player Jen Green, who has been battling breast cancer. The school was to present the check to Roswell Park Cancer Institute Wednesday evening.
