1. I GUESS I LOVE YOU
Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross on Chad Henne (above) starting at QB in 2011: "If he's the best guy we can find I have no problem with that." Let's hope he was more enthusiastic when he proposed to his wife, Kara.
2. PLAYING DEFENSE
Tiger Woods' former wife Elin Nordegren has bought a new $12.2 million mansion about 10 miles south of Tiger's new home. She's instructed security guards to take a 7-iron to the window of any car that comes near the place.
3. TAKE THAT HILL
The National World War II Museum is honoring Bills' owner Ralph Wilson and four other NFL owners. No wonder Wilson was so anxious to take the Bills into Berlin for a preseason game some years ago.
The Mets ate the $12 million contract of pitcher Oliver Perez Monday when they released him. The team is used to it, though -- they didn't get anything from Perez for their $12 million last year, either.
5. HOLD THE PEPPERONI
Despite a torrential storm and the 400 pounds on his frame, sumo wrestler Kelly Gneiting finished the 2011 L.A. Marathon in nine hours, 48 minutes and 52 seconds. He would have been quicker except for those four stops for pizza.
