Medaille College appointed Catherine Lengel graduate program recruiter. She will work with Canadian students in the master of science in education programs at Medaille's Amherst campus. Lengel earned undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University at Buffalo.
Phillips Lytle partner James R. Gasso addressed the Pennsylvania-New York Border Chapter for the Society of Human Resource Management on the topic of "The Importance of Employee Handbooks" recently in Jamestown.
The Cornell Club of Greater Buffalo presented its Distinguished Alumna Award recently to Dr. Drucy Borowitz. Borowitz is a clinical professor of pediatric pulmonology at the Women & Children's Hospital of Buffalo. Presently she is the national principal investigator for a longitudinal study of nutritional parameters in infants diagnosed with cystic fibrosis by newborn screening. An alumna of Brandeis College, she graduated from the Cornell (Weill) Medical College in 1979.
MacSolutions Plus, an independent Apple specialist store, named Jennifer Wilger store lead and Dustin Sutton a technician. Wilger has 15 years of electronics experience working for both Verizon Wireless and T-Mobile. Sutton previously worked in the Mac Lab at Genesee Community College. The company has stores in West Seneca and Clarence, at the Eastern Hills Mall.
