BIRACREE, James N.
BIRACREE - James N. 67, died March 16, 2011 at his home after a long illness, with his loving family at his side. Jim was born in Buffalo NY, the son of James R. and Loretta (Ruhland) Biracree. Jim was born in Buffalo, NY on March 11, 1944, the son of James R. and Loretta (Ruhland) Biracree and had been living in Rochester since 1979, moving from Horsehead, NY. He was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Rochester, a member of the Knights of Columbus and served on the supervisory board of the New England Federal Credit Union. Jim was also a former Eucharistic Minister and former member of the Holy Rosary Church Parish Council, he served as a volunteer with the VITA Program and was a member of the Trine University (Tri-State University) Kappa Sig Fraternity in Angola, Indiana. Surviving members of the family include: his wife, Sharon Biracree of Rochester, NH, two daughters, Laurie Ann Biracree of Little Falls, NJ and April Marie Biracree-Wisowhy and her husband James of Portland, OR, one grandchild, two brothers, Frank Biracree of Tonawanda, NY and Robert Biracree of Myrtle Beach, SC, one sister, Berhenyen of Las Cruces, NM. He also leaves his best friend, Michael Smith of Amherst, NY and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling hours will be held at the H. J. GRONDIN FUNERAL HOME, 177 N. Main St., Rochester, NH on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Church, 71 Lowell St., Rochester, NH with Rev. Daniel Sinibaldi as celebrant.
