Paul E. Burns, Harrison Radiator traffic manager; March 6, 1933 -- March 14, 2011

Paul E. Burns, of Barker, a retired Harrison Radiator worker, died Monday in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Newfane. He was 78.

Born in Barker, Mr. Burns was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

Mr. Burns worked for 41 years at Harrison, where he retired in 1991 as a traffic manager.

Mr. Burns was an active member of Our Lady of the Lake at St. Patrick Catholic Church, where he was a Eucharistic minister. He also was a member of Council 319, Knights of Columbus, and the Ancient Order of Hibernians.

Mr. Burns is survived by his wife, the former Audrey Fels; five daughters, Kathleen DiNardo, Nancy Notarius, Linda Senay, Marie Afshani and Valerie Wagner; two sons, John and Mark; and two brothers, Robert and James.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. today in Our Lady of the Lake at St. Patrick Church, 1726 Quaker Road.
