VIDEO DOCUMENTARIES: Squeaky Wheel/Buffalo Media Resources will present "Stories From the Niagara Frontier," a series of locally produced short video documentaries highlighting initiatives impacting our region from noon to 1 p.m. Thursdays during February and March in the Central Library, 1 Lafayette Square. Featured this Thursday, will be "Building on the Past for Our Future," by Diedie Wang, with Preservation Buffalo Niagara speaker Fred Schrock.

GRAPHIC DESIGNS: A graphic design exhibition in the Paul William Beltz Family Art Gallery at Villa Maria College will open at 6 p.m. Friday. The exhibit runs through Feb. 18 and is free, with free parking at the campus, 240 Pine Ridge Road, Cheektowaga.

SOUP SALE: The Kiwanis Club of Wales annual Super Soup Sale will be held Sunday. On the menu are homemade clam chowder, chicken dumpling soup or cream of potato soup.
