HARRISON - James W. While vacationing in Utah, the Lord said, "James W. Harrison, 60, East Syracuse, it's time you come to my home." His wife Shirley of 40 years and his dad Bill Harrison, and Betty Fellows were by his side. He passed away Friday, January 21, 2011. Jim worked for NYS Lottery for 29 years. He began in the Buffalo office, and then transferred to Syracuse 25 years ago. He worked at Time Warner Cable for 20 years. He loved his sports. He was always at the golf course whenever he could. He belonged to Time Warner Golf League for many years. He also loved camping. "I'll be with you my buddies." He was a member of the Emmanuel Episcopal Church in East Syracuse. He is survived by two daughters Lillian (Gay DePalma) Harrison of California, and Edna (Doug) Osborne of Syracuse, his son Jeremy (Becky) Harrison of Pennellville, seven grandchildren, his sister Nancy (Mike) Silva or Oregon, his brother Don (Eric) Harrison of California, his stepsister Deb (Gordon) Kelkenberg of New York, his stepbrother Scott (Anita) Simons of New York; and also by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Ruth in 2008. A Memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at noon at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 400 W. Yates St., East Syracuse 13057. Calling hours are Monday, January 31 from 7 to 9 PM at the Delaney-Greabell-Adydan Funeral Home, 241 Kinne St., East Syracuse, NY 13057.
