Five Star Bank appointed J. Michael DeVoria, a senior vice president, business banking market executive. A Niagara University graduate, DeVoria has more than 35 years of banking experience. He most recently was regional commercial credit manager with the bank.

AAA Western and Central New York appointed Kate Scaglione business development manager for Horizon Club Tours, an affiliate organization. Scaglione will be responsible for managing inbound group travel business, tour planning and transportation, and will also work to partner with area cultural, travel and visitor hospitality entities to complement local tourism efforts. Most recently she was director of marketing and communications for the Niagara Tourism and Convention Corporation, and she has more than 20 years of travel and tourism experience. Scaglione is a Buffalo State College graduate.

The newly formed Buffalo Investors and Exchangors Group, formerly the American Society of Exchangors, named Russell J. Gullo president. Gullo, a certified exchange adviser, is president of R.J. Gullo and Co.

Telesco Creative Group in Amherst was retained by the Major League Baseball Network to create a business-to-business advertising campaign to raise awareness of the airing of Game 7 of the 1960 World Series. The game, which features Bill Mazeroski's Series-winning home run for the Pirates over the Yankees, was believed to be lost and this copy, found in Bing Crosby's wine cellar in California, is believed to be the only one. Major League Baseball acquired the game film, and the MLB Network aired it recently.

Allpro Parking, a parking management company specializing in the operation and oversight of surface and structured facilities, valet parking services and special event parking, recently introduced Allpro Parking For Healthcare to its company structure. The APH division will tailor its operational approach specifically to the parking needs of the health care industry. APH will provide the necessary training in HIPPA and JCAHP standards relating to the health care environment.

Jamestown Savings Bank recently presented $50,000 to WCA Hospital to back "Sharing the Gift of Health: The Capital Campaign for Our Emergency Department." To date, WCA has reached 80 percent of the $16.5 million capital campaign goal.
