Hamburg Theatre Under The Stars is seeking to cast 10 people to take part in the "Our Stories" project, an evening of storytelling from gay adults and teens to address the problem of bullying and anti-gay behavior. The stories must be written by the storyteller. They can be serious, comedic or inspirational, and can be formally written or improvised. The Starry Night Theatre School in the Ghostlight Theatre, 170 Schenck St., North Tonawanda, is offering 11-week acting courses for students ages 9 to 18 beginning Feb. 5. The children's class is for students ages 9-12 and the teen class is for students ages 13-18. The classes run from 9 to 11 a.m. for 11 consecutive Saturdays and conclude with a public acting recital. Amherst Players Inc. is seeking actresses from age 17 through their early 20s to audition for the role of college student Sara Donavan in "The Big Five-Oh." The Niagara Frontier Watercolor Society is seeking entries in transparent watercolor from artists over age 18 for the 11th National Exhibition, which takes place May 22 to July 3 in the University at Buffalo Anderson Gallery. The Allentown Village Society is seeking entries for its Design Our Poster contest for the 54th annual Allentown Art Festival.
