A University of Connecticut donor named Robert Burton wants the school to refund $3 million of his money because he wasn't consulted on the selection of Paul Pasqualoni as football coach. Coincidentally, UB will introduce Burton today as the Bulls' new offensive coordinator.
4. DIAMOND POLISHING
Yankees GM Brian Cashman said Derek Jeter might be suited to play center field if it ever become necessary for him to give up the shortstop position. The commissioner's office is expected to fine the Yankees for tampering with themselves.
5. PACKER PIXELS
The Green Bay Packers are refusing to let injured players Nick Barnett and Jermichael Finley pose in the team photo at the Super Bowl. I see the Packers' point: If you let those guys in, how do you tell Brett Favre and Don Majkowski they're out?
