The Buffalo Tennis and Squash club held its "Silver Cup" Junior Squash Championships. Hometown champions included Jack Vanderhost (Boys Under-11), Leyton Johnson (Boys Under-13), Lindsay Hogan (Girls Under-13), Grace Louise Munschauer (Girls Under-15) and Catherine Williams (Girls Under-17).

BASEBALL: The WNY Boys of Summer baseball travel league will hold a manager/coaches information meeting for the upcoming season on Feb. 27 at 1 p.m. at the Holiday Inn at 4600 Genesee Street. BASKETBALL: North American Youth sports will hold its annual spring youth basketball tournament at Niagara University's Kiernan Center March 25-27. The tournament will feature 10 different brackets from boys and girls in grades 5-12. The entry fee for the tournament is $105 and guarantees each team a minimum of two games. There will be awards presented for each bracket. The deadline to enter is March 4. BASKETBALL REUNION: The Alden High School reunion will be held Jan. 28, beginning with a 7:30 p.m. game at the high school featuring the Alden boys varsity team against Eden. Special honors will be given at halftime to members of the 1956-57 team, which won the Genesee-Orleans County championship. RUGBY: The Buffalo Rugby Club will hold the 16th annual Winterfest 7s Rugby Tournament, Feb. 12 at LaSalle Park beginning at 9:30 a.m. with playoff rounds starting around 1 p.m. More than 35 teams are set to compete in men's and women's brackets. Go to www.buffalorugby.org.
