Reidy, who specializes in cornea and external disease, was presented the Secretariat Award by the American Academy of Ophthalmology for significant contributions to the academy and the profession of ophthalmology.
Arnoldi, a clinical instructor in ophthalmology at the University at Buffalo and program director of the Ross Eye Institute Orthoptic Program, received the academy's Achievement Award, given to experts based on points awarded each year for participation in its annual meeting.
