Hoke is a Michigan man

---Bob Wojnowski writes former Ball State and San Diego State coach Brady Hoke was hired by Michigan because he's been here before, he knows the terrain, and he's a good, solid coach who preaches defense and unity. Michael Rosenberg writes while Hoke, who left a nice legacy at San Diego State, might not be the popular choice, but the right one. AD Dave Brandon is satisfied he got his man, his peers apparently love him and the Michigan players are excited and the former players love his intensity but Hoke will have little time on the recruiting trail. The video above is Hoke on David Letterman from 2008, shortly after Ball State lost the MAC Championship Game to UB. Bulls fans will enjoy No. 5 on the Top 10 list.
