Floirda State 66, No. 1 Duke 61: Derwin Kitchen scored 22 points, Chris Singleton addend 18 and the Seminoles (12-5, 2-1, ACC) snapped the 25-game winning streak of the Blue Devils (15-1, 2-1) dating back to last season. It was the third time in the last nine seasons that the Seminoles have upset a top-ranked Duke team at home.

No. 2 Ohio State 68, Michigan 64: William Buford scored 19 points and the Buckeyes (17-0, 4-0 Big Ten) went on a 12-0 run in the second half before holding on to beat the Wolverines (11-6, 1-3).

No. 4 Syracuse 76, St. John's 59: Kris Joseph scored 18 points and the Orange (17-0, 4-0 Big East) posted the school's 1,800th win, fifth on the all-time list in Division I, and 846 of them have been under coach Jim Boeheim. St. John's dropped to 10-5, 3-2.

No. 5 Pittsburgh 72, No. 22 Georgetown 57: Ashton Gibbs hit five three-pointers and scored 22 points, and the Panthers (16-1, 4-0 Big East) shot 58 percent in the first half. The Hoyas (12-5, 1-4) are off to their worst conference start since 1998-99.

No. 7 Villanova 88, No. 18 Louisville 74: Corey Stokes scored 23 points and Mouphtaou Yarou had 18 points and 11 rebounds for the Wildcats (15-1, 4-0 Big East), who won their 10th in a row. The Cardinals fell to 13-3, 2-1.

Vanderbilt 73, No. 24 Georgia 66: John Jenkins and Festus Ezeli scored 18 points apiece and the Commodores (12-3, 1-1 SEC) beat the Bulldogs (12-3, 1-1), in the Top 25 for the first time since 2003.

No. 25 Cincinnati 74, South Florida 66: Redshirt freshman Sean Kilpatrick scored 18 points and the Bearcats (16-1, 3-1 Big East) kept the Bulls (6-12, 0-5) winless in the conference.
