1. STOP SPREADING THE NEWS
The Nuggets threatened to deal Carmelo Anthony (above) to the Knicks if the Nets didn't stop leaking details of their talks about a mega-trade. The Knicks are offering two draft picks plus -- for the Nuggets' broadcast team -- a conditional Albert brother.
2. GENTLE TOUCH
Before Michigan hired Brady Hoke on Tuesday, LSU's Les Miles became the latest coach to spurn the Wolverines' advances. Miles told Michigan: "It's not you, it's me. But we can still be friends."
3. FORE RIGHT!
Rush Limbaugh is the latest celebrity to agree to have his golf game dissected by Hank Haney on his "Haney Project" program on The Golf Channel. The network kind of tricked him into it by inviting him to a "tee party."
4. TIME TO MAN UP
LPGA star Brittany Lincicome is teeing it up against men in Florida in a winter series event on the Hooters Tour. She did it just for the competitive challenge, or as they say in Hooters events, "Been there, done that, got the wet T-shirt."
5. PLAY CALLING
Tom Brady went to see the Broadway play "Lombardi" on Saturday night rather than watch the second half of the Jets playoff game. I don't follow his logic, though. "Lombardi" will still be running after this weekend.
