GAUVREAU, Charles J.

GAUVREAU - Charles J. Age 77, of Tonawanda, entered into rest at The Mitchell Campus, Hospice of Buffalo on Monday, January 10, 2011. Born in Buffalo on March 16, 1933, he was the son of the late Phillip and Laurette (St. Jacques) Gauvreau. Charles served his country during the Korean Conflict from 1953 until 1955 in the United States Army. He worked as a tin smith at Exlon in Tonawanda, retiring in 1988 after 27 years. Charles was an avid fisherman. Husband of the late Joyce (McGuire) Gauvreau who died in 2008 and Lois (Perry) Gauvreau who died in 2004. Father of Charles (Andrea) Gauvreau of Middleport, Nanette Bailey of Tonawanda and the late Phillip Gauvreau. Step father of Laurie (Dale) Casey of Eden and Julie (Steve) Juzwicki of Niagara Falls. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at the SHERRIE-BREAM FUNERAL HOME, 4521 Main Street, Gasport, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11 AM with the Reverend Rodney Klinzing officiating.
