Boston 2, Toronto 1: Marc Savard scored the tiebreaking goal and Tuukka Rask stopped 36 shots to lead the Bruins. Nathan Horton also scored for Boston in the finale of 3-0-2 road trip.

Florida 4, Carolina 3 (OT): Bryan Allen scored 1:16 into overtime to lift the Panthers to am overtime win. Allen took a quick slap shot from the boards that surprised Carolina goalie Cam Ward.

N.Y. Islanders 5, Calgary 2: John Tavares had two goals for the Islanders, who are 7-1-1 in their last nine games after starting the season 5-18-5.

Chicago 4, Los Angeles 3: Jonathan Toews scored the winning goal off his own skate at 14:33 of the third period for the Hawks.

Vancouver at San Jose: The Canucks continue to roll. They have won five in a row and are 10-0-2 in their last 12 games.


Late Sunday

Vancouver 2, Colorado 1: Roberto Luongo made 31 saves, while Alexandre Bolduc and Mason Raymond scored for the Canucks.

Anaheim 2, Chicago 1: Andreas Lilja scored his first goal of the season and Corey Perry broke a second-period tie for Anaheim. The Ducks won their third straight game overall and fourth straight at home.
