Fridays's games

New Jersey 3, Atlanta 1: Backup goalie Johan Hedberg made 28 saves as the Devils snapped a six-game losing streak and gave Jacques Lemaire his first victory since replacing John MacLean behind the bench. Lemaire lost his first three games after taking over for the fired MacLean on Dec. 23.

Montreal 3, Florida 2 (OT): Canadiens newcomer James Wisniewski scored his second goal of the game 3:41 into overtime to give Montreal a comeback victory.

Nashville 4, Minnesota 1: Pekka Rinne made 22 saves as the Predators ended their losing streak at five games. Struggling offensively, the Predators have scored nine goals in their past six games. Minnesota was booed off the ice after the game.

N.Y. Islanders 4, Detroit 3 (OT): P.A. Parenteau scored on a power play at 3:57 of overtime to give the Islanders an upset win.

Columbus 4, Ottawa 3 (OT): Jake Voracek, a recent healthy scratch for his lack of production, scored an unassisted goal off a quirky bounce off the back boards in the overtime.

Anaheim 5, Philadelphia 2: Jason Blake and defenseman Lubomir Visnovsky each scored two goals and Jonas Hiller made 35 saves for the Ducks.

Vancouver 4, Dallas 1: Daniel and Henrik Sedin scored power-play goals as the Canucks rolled to their fourth straight victory.

St. Louis 4, Phoenix 3: Alex Steen had a goal and an assist, and Jaroslav Halak stopped 30 shots as the Blues won their fifth straight.
