Bankers Conseco Life Insurance Co., a New York-based life and health insurer, named Mark McPherson branch sales manager of its sales office at 6225 Sheridan Drive, Amherst. McPherson has more than 10 years of industry experience. He most recently was a corporate vice president at New York Life.

The Buffalo Niagara Association of REALTORS elected E. Alice Miranda of MJ Peterson Real Estate president for 2011.
