The Rev. Richie Lee DeBow, a pastor, died Wednesday at his home in Buffalo. He was 70.
Born in Buffalo, he was a graduate of Seneca Vocational High School.
Mr. DeBow worked as an electrician at Western Electric for about 20 years until the plant closed in 1977. He was a pastor at Greater Praise Tabernacle Church for 21 years. He was a member of the Pentecostal Apostolic Ministers Alliance. He had a ministry at Deaconess Center on Humboldt Parkway every third Wednesday of the month.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, the former Betty Myree; a son, Matthew; and a sister, Phyllis Webber.
A service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Greater Praise Tabernacle Church, 704 William St.
