il,9l,4p3 Genevieve B. O'Connor of Buffalo, a retired real estate agent, died Dec. 17 in Fox Run skilled nursing facility, Orchard Park. She was 92.
Born Genevieve Braun in Detroit, she graduated from Detroit Northern High School in 1937.
She married Eugene B. O'Connor in 1938, and they moved to the Buffalo area. He died in 1992.
After many years as a homemaker, Mrs. O'Connor re-entered the labor market in 1973. At age 55, she became a real estate agent with George E. Matthews Real Estate. In 1975, she joined Gurney, Becker & Bourne real estate agency, where she worked as a licensed broker until her retirement in 1998.
She was a member of the Buffalo Club and the Garret Club, a social organization for women.
Survivors include a son, Burke; two daughters, Patricia Kinstler and Maureen Wittmann; a brother, Louis A. Braun; and two sisters, Virginia Sutherland and Mary Jane Lang.
A memorial Mass will be offered in March in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 1029 Delaware Ave.
