Hawaii vs. Tulsa: Hawaii Bowl was expected to be a shootout with two of nation's most prolific offenses on display. No. 24 Hawaii and Tulsa average 1,000 yards of offense and 80 points combined. Tulsa (9-3) is riding a six-game winning streak, which included a 28-27 victory at Notre Dame. In last six games, Tulsa has averaged 43.2 points and 523 yards of offense. Not many teams have slown down Hawaii (10-3) with the exception of Boise State. Hawaii convincingly won nine of its last 10 games to share the Western Athletic Conference title with Boise State and Nevada after being picked to finish near last.

Florida International: In its sixth season in the Football Bowl Subdivision and four years after a winless season, Florida International (6-6) will take on Toledo in Sunday's Little Caesar's Bowl. A win would give the program its first winning record.
Georgia Tech: Four Tech players, including starters Stephen Hill and Mario Edwards, will not play in Monday's Independence Bowl against Air Force because of academic problems. Hill leads the Yellow Jackets with 15 catches for 291 yards and three touchdowns.
