Brady says he'll play Sunday

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, battling the flu this week, practiced on Friday and declared himself fully ready for Sunday's game in Buffalo.

"I'm ready for Santa Claus, and I'm ready to play some football," Brady said.

Not practicing for the Pats were starting defensive end Mike Wright (concussion) and starting guard Dan Connolly (concussion). Connolly is listed as doubtful, Wright questionable. Receiver Deion Branch (knee) is probable. Other starters on the report: linebacker Tully Banta-Cain (groin), tight end Aaron Hernandez (hip) and linebacker Jermaine Cunningham (calf) all were limited and all are listed as questionable.

Bills center Geoff Hangartner, out the past two weeks with a sore knee, worked in part of practice Friday.

"Hangartner did a little bit more today," coach Chan Gailey said. "We're gonna list him as questionable. I don't know if we'll activate him or not."

The Bills signed 295-pound defensive lineman Boo Robinson, a Wake Forest product who spent training camp with the Eagles, to the practice squad. He replaces defensive lineman Ko Quaye, who was signed off the Bills' practice squad to the Browns' active roster.
