Kenmore Mercy Hospital nurse manager Veronica Valazza earned the Certified Nurse Manager and Leader designation from the America Organization of Nurse Executives and the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.

Inergex Incorporated, a Buffalo professional IT services company, named David Paulnitz and Derek Reihe service desk analysts on the Inergex Praxair Service Desk team. Paulnitz previously was a communications technician at Comcast and a network administrator assistant at ITT Technical Institute. He obtained an associate's degree from ITT Technical Institute and earned undergraduate and master's degrees from American InterContinental University. Reihe was head of remote support at Rosen Systems and assistant computer administrator at Associated Healthcare. He has an associate's degree from ITT Technical Institute.

Evans Bank recently completed renovations to the exterior of its corporate office in Hamburg, showcasing the bank's updated brand. The renovation project, which started in July, resulted in key enhancements to the building's exterior. In addition to facade improvements, new signage reflecting the bank's updated brand was installed, including illuminated signage on the front of the building.

Just Pizza Franchise Systems recently opened two Just Pizza locations in Florida, in Sarasota and Sanford. Just Pizza features more than 75 varieties of pizza in addition to many other menu items including Buffalo style chicken wings, subs and salads.

Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston received the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association's Get With The Guidelines -- Stroke Bronze Performance Achievement Award.
