FOOTBALL: Cross Training Football is holding an Ultimate Football League and several one-day tournaments. The league (for grades 7-11) will begin Feb. 5 and run each Saturday through Feb. 26 at Sweet Home High School. Games (five-on-five) will be played from 4-9 p.m. There will be a little league tournament (7th grade and under) on Jan. 15 (register by Jan. 8); a junior varsity tournament (9th grade and under) on Jan. 22 (register by Jan 15); and a varsity tournament (12th grade and under) on Jan. 29 (register by Jan. 22). Cost is $60 per team/officials or $10 per player. Go to www.crosstrainingfootball.com. The fourth annual Ice Breaker Football Coaches Clinic will be held Jan. 8 at the Millennium Hotel in Buffalo. Speakers this year include Dick Diminuco (Alden), Tom Goddard (Clarence), John Faller (Sweet Home) and the offensive and defensive coordinators from Coatesville (Pa.) High School. ICE SKATING: Skate Great will offer learn-to-skate classes at the East Aurora Time Warner Ice Rink on Sundays from 12-12:50 p.m. starting Jan. 2. Ages 4 through adults are welcomed and skate rentals are available. Register by calling 580-3458 or online at www.sk8gr8.com.

SOFTBALL: ECC will offer a six-week pitching clinic beginning Jan. 23. Times are 1 p.m. for beginners and 2 p.m. for advanced and you must bring your own catcher. The cost is $50. ECC will also start a six-week fastpitch hitting league beginning Jan. 23. Rosters are six per team with four batting and four fielding in high school and youth divisions. Cost is $125 per team. STREET HOCKEY: Players are needed in the 11-12, 13-14 and 15-16 age divisions for a league that begins Jan. 3 at Asarese-Matters Center on Grant and Bradley streets. No experience necessary. Fee is $5 with one game per week. Contact Tovie Asarese at 885-7692.
